Our Hamburger

Miss Meg's Restaurant

Size matters at Miss Meg's, which easily has the largest burger in Rabun County with its two 16-ounce patties of fresh, ground beef.
"It's too big for a lot of people," said Brian.
Customers are often surprised when a heaping plate is brought to their table. A knife is stuck through the middle of the burger to keep it standing upright.
"People will stop in the restaurant and say, 'Do you see that?'" Julee said. "That's not even the double," she tells them.
The menu advises to allow up to 20 minutes for a burger to finish cooking, and regulars often phone in an order in advance. Add bacon and cheese—shredded cheddar and Monterrey Jack—for the complete experience. It's served on a freshly baked bun. Brian will also prepare smaller burgers upon request.
